I have just installed OCIE and the installation went smoothly however... After uploading a download file I get the following error:



Line 27 of catalog/controller/common/column_right.php reads:



I am not a coder but can follow instructions well so if it is something I could fix myself would most appreciate any help.

you are writing, that you are getting this error after you have 'uploaded a download file'.
What do you mean with that?

The error message tells me, that the file ../catalog/model/catalog/product.php seems to be a wrong one, because this function is missing now (because of something I do not know).
For me it is not clear why this message comes up.

Could you replace the above mentioned file with the one of the installation package?

If the error occurs again, maybe you want to write me an email with more details and a link to look into that by myself.

Just to clarify what I had done yesterday: I went to the backend and created a product and the went, in Admin, to the Download menu and uploaded a file I wanted as a downloadable product file - it was after the file uploaded that I received that error.

I have now done a clean install, together with changing some files for the Global Mega Options module from readyman which seems to have worked thus far.

Thank you for your offer of help - hopefully I can work my way through things and come back to you if I have further problems.

I love the clean/succinct comparison code you have provided.

Many thanks for your compliment - I try to do my best (and as I am used to since over now 10 years and at other projects I am working too).

I will check that in doing the same procedure you wrote and see if the result of this action could be the 'eval'.

I know the extension 'Global Mega Options' and to be honest - I am not really happy with this code.
Had 3 customers and at all I had to rework nearly the whole code of this modification because of too many errors in it (unfortunately!).
But then it worked perfectly.

If you ask me now what I have done - well it was quote a work in nearly all scripts.
Best is, enable the 'error reporting' in the shop and watch the error log.

If you have the solution to issues with GMO then I would be more than happy to receive your quotation via a PM. I also have the files structure of the files I edited (basically OCIE files that I included the GMO changes to - ie I did not overwrite any of the ocie changes to the core).

Whilst on the subject - how do other OC modules install with OCIE - additionall themes etc. I have a couple that I would like to use but am assuming it could mean a lot of editing of files.

I noted also in the OC forum that you had been working on something similar to the GMO module, only with imprint of uploaded graphics/text over T-Shirts - is this something that you have or are still working on?

the first error belongs to images.
It seems that you have one (or more) image(s) which have no onformation about their colors (bits).
This is quite easy to fix.

Same goes for the second error (attribute) to fix.
This comes from an undefined variable (must be coming from an added var, because the original has it not included) - maybe from the GMO mod?

About the GMO: no, I am not working on something.
But I know that the original need some tweaking because it has some nasty bugs in it.

About your other modules/extensions you want to include: if you could send me an PM or email, I could tell you how much it would be.
