With our newest extension ProductUpdater we are covering almost all needs a shopowner may have if he wants to edit his products.
There are already a few modules existing. They are nice, but not more. Why?
Missing flexibility is the keyword.
This is why we have made our own extension, called 'Product Updater'.Easy to install (just one folder to copy via FTP), no overridding of any core file - because it is operated as a module.
While it is easy to use, this extension has all the flexibility I can expect of a module like this:
- Sortable by any column
- Lists can be limited (5-100 items) up to unlimited (because of possible database breaks, this is limited to 9.999 items per query)
- Update as many products you want
- Update a single field for 1 product only or many fields for many products
- Automatic highlighter of changed fields
- Direct editable fields (per product) are: price, cost, weight, quantity, state, date available
- Bulk fields like price (amount and/or percent), state, quantity, cost, weight
- Amounts and percentage can be given as a positive or a negative value (increasing / decreasing prices)
- Available for all already installed OpenCart installations versions 1.4.8.x and 1.4.9.x as well for new OpenCart installations as well as for all versions of the OCIE
